Automatic transmissions fluid is the most important component in maintaining your transmission. This fluid lubricates, cools, cleans, and works as a hydraulic fluid to make the transmission shift. This fluid breaks down overtime and we recommend replacing every 3 years or 36,000 miles. Servicing your transmission fluid on a routine basis will add life and value to your vehicle.
Depending on your vehicle it may or may not have a transmission pan. So your transmission will either require a drain and fill service or a transmission service. We do not recommend flushing the transmission fluid without removing the transmission pan first. Flushing the transmission can take small particles in the transmission pan and contaminate the transmission system creating new transmission issues. Contact us for vehicle specific estimates.
