Bradshaw’s is a full service brake shop specializing in using OE or equivalent brake parts. Our brake jobs include resurfacing of brake rotors with our precision on-car brake lathe, lubricating of all moving brake parts, and complete brake fluid flush.
Brake Fluid Flush
Brake fluid becomes oxidized and contaminated over time and this can cause a spongy brake pedal and corrode brake parts from the inside out. It is important to keep brake fluid clean to have optimal braking.
Complete Brake Inspection:
Symptom:
- Spongy brake pedal
- Grinding noise when braking
- Squealing noise when backing up or braking
- Vehicle pulsates / vibrates when stopping
- Low brake pedal
- Brake light is on
- ABS light is on
Brake inspection Includes:
- Removal of all 4 wheels
- Measure thickness of rotors/drums compare to factory specifications.
- Measure front and rear brake pads/shoes.
- Inspect entire brake system
- Master cylinder
- Calipers and wheel cylinders
- Brake fluid condition
- Brake lines and fluid leaks
- Document brake inspection estimate to repair brake system
Disc Brake Job Includes:
- New brake pads
- Lubricate moving brake parts
- On car brake lathe rotor machining
- New rotors (If rotors are below minimum factory specifications.)
- Re-pack wheel bearings when applicable
- Adjust emergency brake when applicable
- Caliper Inspection
Drum Brake Job Includes:
- New brake shoes
- New wheel cylinders
- Brake hardware kit
- Lubricate moving brake parts
- Machine drums
- New drums (If drums are out of factory specifications.)
- Re-pack wheel bearings when applicable
- Adjust emergency brake
